Random Update #1

Hello, everyone! How are you? I hope that all of you are feeling well at times like this.

Phew, I thought that I’m going to ignore this blog again just like what I did to my old blogs. There were so many things happened since the last post that I posted and I think that it was a bit chaotic and exhausting at the same time. But, here I am, still showing my effort to write something before all of you have this thinking that I’m not active anymore LOL.

So, recently, my big family held a dinner party at my place since the people here have helped us to put some tiles and fencing the grave of my late great grandmother. Everything was okay until the water supply was cut off. I was furious at that time because, without enough water supply, it would be hard for us to cook. And, it was hard for me to clean the house too.

Luckily, we did have some water tanks here where we already cut the upper part of them so we can always collect water. Some of them are filled with rain water and some of them are filled with gravity water (which the water is straight from the river).

Let me tell you the story behind the reason why we started using gravity water.

Before all of this, we used to use the water provided by Jabatan Negeri Air Sabah. Some time later, we decided to stop using it since the water supply distribution system provided by JANS is very bad. I mean, it is still acceptable that there’s no water supply due to using gravity water since sometimes the river will become dry or shallow due to drought. However, when the water supply is being cut off and the fact that it is provided by the “g” word? It is VERY unacceptable!

Sometimes, when there’s maintenance, we had to go through days without water at home. But, that’s okay since we even started using gravity water way before we stopped using JANS’s water supply. It’s the fact that they have to do maintenance for so many times every months and the water flow from the taps are slower than the turtles. Yet we still have to pay the bills for it which costs us RM2000 all of a sudden.

So, I won’t go further about this since it is related to some political scandal and I don’t want to go there.

Also, I have a final semester examination next week and I’m actually nervous about it. 

And yes, I am still stressing out due to the other students that take the same subject as mine this year that kept asking me for answers to all the assignments this semester and copying all of them. This is probably why I don’t have close friends ever since I started studying in college because I hate it when I’m being too kind and friendly, these people are taking advantage of me which makes me exhausted mentally. This is also the reason why I have two phone numbers for WhatsApp to this day.

I also started to take photos again after so long of keeping my camera in the closet. 

As you can see at the picture above, the word on the lens cover is fading away. I mean, I don't blame him because I've been keeping him since 2012.

I really thought that it is not functioning anymore, and turns out, it is still functioning once I pressed the “On” button. Though, the display screen has a vignetting around it and I don’t even know how to fix it. I did decide to bring it to a camera store to get someone to fix it but, I’m not confident enough since the price might be expensive. Lucky that I can still snap some photos using the small see through lens at the back of the camera. And, there are also some buttons that can’t work properly anymore but I don’t care. As long as I can still use it, that’s all matters.
